Drafting reports, notes and presentations from internal documents

Context

Engineers and project managers at a large energy group spend a great deal of time compiling reports and presentations from existing documents.

The problem

Putting together a risk report or a presentation from dozens of documents takes a long time, and copying and pasting loses the link to the sources.

What we built

Deliverable generation features within the same platform: structured reports based on internal lessons-learned reports, notes from a draft, document comparison, PowerPoint presentations generated from an outline produced by the model, and Word export.

Steps

  1. 01Selection of source documents from the library, or file upload
  2. 02Generation of an outline, then of the deliverable (Word, PowerPoint)
  3. 03Review and iteration through the conversation
  4. 04File export
