Training a developer in Claude Code on a real project
An experienced PHP developer learns to work with a coding agent by building a library that estimates the carbon footprint of requests to language models. The rule of the course: no figure without a verifiable source.
Context
An experienced PHP Symfony developer wants to become self-sufficient with a coding agent.
The problem
A coding agent produces figures that are plausible and wrong; you have to learn to frame it through context, tests and verification.
What we built
A cycle of eight sessions built around a common-thread project, with a Word handout per session; every instruction was actually carried out before the handout was issued.
