Managing a portfolio of R&D programmes
The R&D department tracks its programmes, projects and deliverables in a single view, filterable by year, with budgets, value created and source documents, and can query the portfolio in natural language. The use case is being piloted, with the 2024 and 2025 data being loaded.
Context
The R&D department of a large energy group manages a dozen programmes whose deliverables are stored in a document library.
The problem
Tracking the progress, budget and value of R&D deliverables required manually consolidating scattered documents.
What we built
An R&D management module: corpus synchronised from the document library, portfolio view, programmes, projects and deliverables, a year filter applied across all sections, budgets, value created, alerts, sourced discussion and exports.

Hosting and models
OVHcloud private cloud in France. Qwen3.5-397B via OVHcloud AI Endpoints, a self-hosted 27B Qwen model, and small self-hosted models on a dedicated L40S GPU for vectorisation, reranking and image description, plus OCR.
